I wonder if you can imagine all we were going thro up here I was so sorry for your father and all he had. I asked him down one Sunday but I guess he felt better home with Lena.
I suppose Washington will soon be beautiful. How I would like to see it again. We had such a nice time down there.
I hope you will write again I mean to write you once in a while but I seem to put off letter writing, until the last thing.
Ralph had a big abscess on the side of his face that was (in poultice) for the wedding

he suffered a great deal with it but it is getting well now.
I went to the Womans Club today. They had a lantern slide picture show given by Mr + Mrs Arthur Keith of Brockton and I am so glad I went. It was color photography and mostly flowers in their natural settings. flower borders roses snapsdragons in famous gardens all around. Nantucket -Hollyhocks and scenes in the woods. I [[strikethrough]] knew [[/strikethrough]] never saw any more beautiful pictures and yet there was a picture of the rhododendrons almost like the one we sent you. They were wonderful. I would just like to do that very thing myself. I could enjoy it
