Dear Sid:

I was relieved to get your cards today and know that you are all right. Am glad you got so many of your Floras, too, and that your car is being taken care of. Did she think riding in an open can or draft the cause of it? or what was the cause?

I have been so busy. I found that all the storm windows needed puttying badly, and have been puttying them all the afternoon. I have done 10, but there are about a half dozen more of the big ones to do. And then I shall have to paint them to preserve the putty. I can't get thru with that until Monday, allowing a day for the putty to dry. Added to that I started varnishing the dining room floor, as I had found the old linoleum had begun to crack, and I thought it would preserve it. I did a third of it this forenoon. So I shall have that to do. I think I had better say I won't get home till Thursday, the 3rd, and then I shall have time to get things decently done. Doris has 4 teeth yet to be filled. He didn't do a thing yesterday but put a rubber band between her teeth. She told him she had to leave next week, but he said he
