Dear Sid:

D & her grandma are playing checkers, & Grandma says, "She is a good player". I took D. berrying up in Atherton's old pastures and we got 3 qts this A.M. D. has written for a lot of things. You really needn't get a cot if you haven't time. We can manage. Don't sit up too late working and take it as easy as you can this hot weather. If Erlanson won't take the fish I am certain the one who looked after them in the spring would care for them at her house for a small sum. Bring up a can of honey and D.'s things. I hope you have had a good day today.

D.
