Dear Sid:

We had a terrific rain all night but it is fine again. Doris has been occupied with her squirrel all day,— he keeps getting out and then she has to catch him again. She has gotten chicken wire at Swan's and made a cage. Isabel and Mary Leonard (Dick's girl) were over this forenoon and Mabel has been over this afternoon, now she is over at Mabel's. She is having a wonderful summer, but I wonder if her Grandmother is? I have been picking berries today. Hope you will get off with Julia Sunday. Tell her that I have liked her book.

Doris.
