Dear Sid:

I have been painting part of the kitchen today,— it being a lot cooler. Doris has been playing with her mice & bunny & doing German. This afternoon she has gone swimming with Mabel over to Field Park. The cat has been trying to catch a squirrel and gone upon the roof, old fatty, but at last he is down. I expect you & Richard are at the beach. Hope it is cooler there.

Doris.
