Dear Sid:

It has been growing hot again today,— as I suppose you know, and I am thinking of you as having to go thru hot days yet before you come up. I wish you were here. I hope you had a good day Sunday. 
   
Doris has had 2 visitors today,— Elizabeth Leonards girl Isabel, and Dick's girl, Mary. They spent the forenoon, and Doris was as happy & excited over them as could be. She went down to get an armful of library books this afternoon. 

She has several spots of poison ivy and one on her hand is quite big. I got some stuff at the drug store to try to dry them up, and she has been dosing herself. She has been putting a rubber band over her head to keep back her ears, and while
