think that this (usually or always) occurred when the animals were moderately disturbed, i.e. after Mobbing but before complete relaxation. When apparently undisturbed (or only mildly disturbed) they usually stayed 5-50 ft apart I.e usually completely visible to their nearest neighbors.
After our last approach to this group, the animals made no attempt to retreat. Continued about their business feeding, resting. At the same time, I began to hear bursts of high pitched sounds. Extremely ventriloquial. But I am certain that at least some of these sounds were uttered by the monkeys (rather than adjacent birds) And I think it highly probable that all the sounds were  They included various Squ Notes, some louder and sharper notes which sounded like weak versions of Puche 'Trit" Notes, plus some brief, moderately loud Trll's. Some or all these Trll's were "fluctuating", possibly even slightly plauitive in tone - like the TW of Puche's!!! [[??]]
I presume that all these high pitched patterns are lower intensity and/or relatively less hostile than QM and MGB. 
A minute or two after these animals moved on, at 5:15 pm, a single squirrel appeared.  Silent and alone. But apparently moving in same direction as the Saimiri.  Following???
NOTE:  This individual was another "[[?]]" Rufous on back. Head, ears, limbs, underparts, and at least a large part of tail completely black.
