all sorts of patches of forest without seeing anything more. Then go back to first forest visited yesterday. Within a few minutes, 12:35 pm, come across a group of monkeys. Or two groups. Some tamarins, fusicollis type, in scrub area. Mostly on vertical saplings again. 15-25 ft up. Can't tell how many in group. But at least 2. Also pair of Sabes in tall trees almost directly above the tamarins. 40-60 ft up. The 2 Sabes also approximately 100 ft from one another.
Tamarins react to my approach first. the usual alarm and warning calls. But no trace of Mobbing. Sabes' react a few seconds later. Mual "Rattles" and
