bably titi-like Trlls) Then utter "MGB"s and Sneezing Sharp Notes when they see us. Then relax completely again.

Sound of falling tree provokes more "MGB"s an Sns N's. Again animals relax.
Guide sees another apella in large tree near Saimiri. And we can also hear one or more apella pounding ? against tree trunks not far away.

The ranges of these apella and Saimiri must be at least adjacent to that of the fuscicollis group just seen.

Saimiri are ranging 15-40 ft up.

Now John sees 3-4 apella with group. Ranging 30-60 ft up. Being quiet now 2:27 pm.

Group gradually moves off. We follow them in same direction. Find them, again clustered around overgrown clearing. Or at least the Saimiri are clustered there. The apellas are more difficult to locate, altho still apparently with group. Guide sees one apella in large tree 100 yds away. Carrying young on back!

The Saimiri seem incredibly little bothered by our approach and appearance. Almost all the monkeys here seem to tamer than nearer Valparaiso.

2:40 pm. Still watching same mixed group. See 2 apella 80-100 ft up in tall tree. There also is at least 1 Saimiri in same tree same time.

Then whole group moves off. apella apparently on flanks 2:45 pm.

End observations 3:25 pm.
