very long time for a waking monkey to stay still!  Ind. finally moves a few minutes later, when my attention obviously is distracted.  Disappears from view.  A few seconds later, I hear a single Whistle.

  Cicadas around here are quite noisy.  They must often "drown out" Pygmie  Whistles.

  Go for a little walk up road.  Back to hole tree 4:43.  No Pygmy visible now.  Then one appears a few minutes later.  Visits hole after hole.  Apparently licking or sucking.

  Posture when climbing up large tree trunk is characteristic.
