why the Callimico have been reduced to associating with the fuscicollis.

9:45 am. Another area of young second growth. Near fuscicollis. LSN's & MSN's & Trll's. Animals cannot be more than 10-15 ft above ground.

A little further on, hear more fuscicollis sounds, plus many very high pitched Wstl's (& "trilling" series of Wstl's), presumably by Callimico. (Another) association between the 2 species.

Finally catch glimpse of what seems to be same group 10:03. Running and leaping through young second growth 10-20 ft above ground. I see 3 fuscicollis. Guide says that they were preceded by 2 Callimico.

NOTE: There certainly are jays around here. Sound like species at Rumiyaco. But they do not seem to be associating with any monkeys here.

10:35. Hear mixed group of fuscicollis and Callimico (again), without seeing them. Usual vocalizations.

11:45 am. Hear Cebuella notes in area where fuscicollis seen yesterday or the day before

Guide says that both fuscicollis and Callimico come in to the farms to eat fruits of cacao (Theobroma cacao) and Caimito (Sapotaceae
