Then fuscicollis apparently goes away. Probably accompanied by 2 of the adult Callimico. Then, ca. 9:00 am., the third adult Callimico utters a couple of WLW's, shuts up, perhaps gone away also.

"Back" twice diving next 3/4 hour. Utters more Chuck-Trll's. Then apparently gone again.

During this whole period young continues quite motionless, still in crouch and Tip-coil. Uttering WLW's as before.30-40 (or less) sec. intervals just after adult leaves or shuts up, gradually lengthening to 70-80 (with fluctuations)

It would appear that anti-predator behavior is the most peculiar feature of this species !!! and obviously adaptive against birds rather than mammals !!!

NOTE: Young paid no obvious attention to a couple of brief sprinkles of rain ca. 8:15-8:30

Leave young alone 10:00 am. Parent(s) obviously not coming while we remain in immediate neighborhood.

Going back toward region where young left 10:30. Flush 2 Callimico adults 6-20 ft up. Region mixed second growth. Bound away vertically. Uttering Chuck-Trll's.

Find young exactly the same as before. So we go off again in another direction.

11:20 Pass near area of young Callimico again. Still calling as before.

CORRECTION: Now Antuco says that there may have been only 2 adult Callimico in the band seen this morning!!! The third supposed adult may have been Saguin
