Dear Doris,
I am waiting for Pa to come home for dinner he has gone down to shut of the heat down to the stove. 

We were glad to hear that Sid is on the mend, it will soon be warm down there, but we poor mortals are having a mighty good taste of winter so far February has been anything but mild, well it can't last forever.

We don't hear anything of Lena, Pa sent her mail along middle of the week.

The Griffins are going down to Baltimore first of this week, she intends to call on you at the office, Griffin told Pa he had been in town
