Well when your Ma started her letter it looked to be a dreary day for there were snow fluries and black clouds a plenty but by noon the clouds had disappeared and the sun has been out and it has warmed up a little. I started the Heater and had got a good fire going and in closing the Damper it broke off. so my fire has been. raging all day I shall have to let it out take off the stove pipe and put in a new damper if I can get a tin one.
