Doris

I begun day by getting on to the Barn roof for a time. The Grays have begun to look for [[unter?]] home. They had found a weak fence in the [[coringing?]] on the back end. I put new shingles on and am going to wait and see if they start a new fence. Then I shall try some metal shingles for their teeth. I picked a lot of tomatoes then I run the Lawn mower for a while, well we have got all the figure to gather for the rate to be made for the taxes we are to meet the Finance Board Tuesday evening and begin the work of putting the figures on to the Big Book and the Collectors I guess Fred and myself will have all of that to do as Mr Pratt is to leave the coming Saturday for Desmoines Iowa to the Natl Encampment of the GAR
