I have made me a petticoat and am at work on some corset covers now so manage to keep busy so far. 
I wrote a letter to Alice this week and answered Mrs Longyears letter I have not seen Mort lately he was not feeling very well the last time he was up. I see by this weeks sentinel that they are going to do away with married woman teachers, that will knock Alice out we think. O by the way Mildred has had another one, this time its a girl she calls it Alice. Myrtie will have something to keep her busy for a spell. 
I have started some seeds in the house this week two boxes of tomatoes and one of asters and Pa is going to bring me up a box to plant those hibiscus in I am anxious to see them, I wonder if they want a sunny place to grow in. The tulips will be in time when you come up in May I hope. Griffin was in town this week to se about storing his goods They are sold out of a home again in Mattipan and are going to take a trip down to Baltimore to see Edriee. he is out of work. I suppose its getting spring like down there but here the ice is still on the ponds and birds are not around yet. That big chestnut of Franks was cutdown out there near the hen yard this week, it made an awful noise when it fell. well its time to start my dinner now good bye,
