Sloughton Feb 19th 1922

Dear Doris,
The day began with snow , now its been a slight mist, and it looks like clearing once in a while. Pa wants to go down to Amos's house for a sleigh ride to exercize his old "Blondie" and if it should clear by afternoon we may take the trip. Well I got the letter Friday as usual and also the check and yesterday the little package came, on opening it I found the pretty dress apron, also the real linnen handkerchief in one of the pockets, I was pleased with my presents and thank you for all three, and hope you are fully recovered from your snuffy cold, I see by the paper you are having it pretty cold down there, I do wish this snow would go, although now its good sleighing. Well we got our letters from Brookline this week and it seems that she was very much pleased with the one I wrote for her.
