Well this is a record breaker, I know it will storm tomorrow for sure but we can surely enjoy this nice day. It is Sunday afternoon and my work is all done for the time being. my clothes are all dry on the line. We have not seen Lima since Newyears. but her letters come regularly. I am thinking about getting a rug for the sitting room they cost more but are easier to take care of. Mort says that Jean get one 9 ft by 12 and so put down rug at the end there by the bay window say. I am not going to be in too much of a hurry [[strike through]] about being in a hurry [[/strikethrough]] Pa has been talking to me about writing to Lena, so I have got it down twice you see. I must go over to Brode-- some time this week. I have got to get me some glasses and some shoes also, I am most fare footed. There are anumber of places I want to go while I am out of work. I hope your office force are enjoying your selves now Chip is not with you and suppose when he does come back that he will make up for lost time. Pa says that while he was talking with some one on the street, Miss Coffin came along and asked him for your address, he gave it to her and she went away repeating it and said, that she would remember it.

Well Pa has finished his two letters and is now working out on the wood pile so will call this one done.
