It is a nice day as any one could ask for. I had Mr McDonald up this morning early and cut off the limbs from one of the maple trees over to old place  it was too much for me. Then I took the team and drove up to the cemetry with Drake and am most ready for deleafing I am to start out and see if I can find some Premiere Pine for I want to make a wreath to carry up to the lot by next Sunday. so I shall finish this letter after I come back. Lena is on the Couch fast asleep she came home Friday night she has a cold so she will not go out in the woods with me to day

hunting for money although business does not start off very much as yet your Ma has not been over to Knute as yet. we shall not do much of anything for Christmas but will send a small box to you Wednesday of this week. for you to guess about until Christmas Lena will be with us again next Sunday and pack her things for Christmas.
