Dear Doris:
Well now I am going to write my letters Pa and Leana have gone down to take her train and Pa is to meet Mami Wales and give her a bag and start her off on the same train with Lena, after Mrs Winship gets her around in the car, she having taken her up to the cemetery since dinner with us. I have been quite busy with getting the dinner and getting the house in order, doing a little washing, and a little ironing, and since dinner a little gabbing and now, I have done the dishes, and since it become dark I find that my bed is still to be made. This has been a stormy week with just three pleasant days. I managed to dry my clothes and today have got them dry also, it is a dark day, with not any sun, and a snowy feeling air. I shouldnt be surprised to wake up in the midst of a snow storm.
