Dear Doris,

A nice sunny day is dawning upon us. Lena came out Thursday night. Pa was down to the lodge meeting. [[Mot Lamb?]] was here I got him to come up to see if there was anything we might have that Mrs [[Longyear?]] might be interested in. You would have laughed to have to have seen us Lena and we were clear up in the top of the house searching for that little eight-cornered stand that was used by Mrs Eddy to set her plants on. and that stand used to belong to Great-Grandmother [[Sapen?]] and it was his great-Grandmother also, so he says he will have it fixed up and he wants the stand that she wrote her book on, but Horace has that, there is also a chair, but he has that also, He will see her soon and find out about them.
