Dear Doris,

The day is nice and sunny after a nice shower that fell to us yesterday afternoon and evening. Shane just washed a few things and have got them out blowing on the line a pretty strong wind it is too. Shane got my dinner on a cooking which will consist of, when done, pot roast, shelled beans, both kinds of taters, tomato and a bread pudding, these were prepared yesterday, all but the potatoes. Shane finished my jackets and sent them in, now I am cleaning my room and look up the easpel and am thinking some of painting the floor and just having it covered with rugs, as the old earpel is worn out and its such a job to manage it. Pa says do as you like about it, he has fixed the floor, by pounding down the nails, some of the boards were loose since we wried the house for electric lights. My asters are still looking fine also the salvers are lending their color to help
