to beautify the grounds, and our clematis is in full swing just one mass of white, they are all just so full this year. I am glad your finery is doing you some good, now is the time before the season changes to wear those thin things. What are you thinking of giving Fred something he can keep in silver would be nice. he is so free hearted himself. I wore my dress down town the other day with the lace front and collar. it looked nice and dressy, and I like it very much. Pa has got on one of his shirts you got him and he feels dressed up too. We have had a letter from Lena this week and wrote one to her Tuesday and sent her your two letters. I have been putting up my tomatoes this week about one doz and a half jars We are eating them and giving them to King and none are going to waste so far, somehow, we are not getting sick of them thus far. I mean to stuff some with meat and crumbs and bake them with a strip of bacon on top they tell of their being good. I have eaten my last cucumber today. hope it dont kill me. I will stop now for want of space.
