Dear Doris
I am half awake in an hour this letter is going downtown, I have been busy this week Knute was over Friday, for me to come over to the house to make pies and said they were to run the shop all of this week, so I guess that means work for me also. Johnnie Wayland was invited to dinners today, so Pa got two slices of steak and two kinds of potatoes shelled beans corn, beets, tomatoes, slices and I baked a bread pudding which he said was just right then I had some doughnuts, and drop cakes the latter he preferred. A man comes from Brockton with some of the most delitious doughnuts you ever are, every Friday and only twenty five cts a doz so I guess I will be supplied every one in the
