Dear Doris
The air is full of Millers from gypsie moths yesterday the next day after our down hour, was a nice cool day, the first clear air we have had for some little time and to day is cool, lacking the NE wind. Lena did a big wash yesterday and I mine to day. but sweat poured off my face before I got done for Pa's store pants were pretty hard to wash and after they get dry enough, I'l have them to patch. Louis Dykeman went after blue berries up to the float, he told me yesterday in a foot of water (wore rubber boots), he didn't tell how much he got. our house looks fine since the blinds were put on and the outside doors were painted and it cost us about $77, counting paint and oil. What Pa has worked has saved us a third of the cost we reckon. The frat go down to Nantasket next wednesday
