Dear Doris-

Well after the shower this morning, the day is exceedingly muggy and feels like more of the same kind of weather. Lena came out last night after supper, she had spent the day out to Aunt Mauds Pa thinks before tomorrow we shall see some of the Wentworth family come troofering in upon us. I got a good piece of meat boiled yesterday and some onions, also some canned peas. and I made pies + a batch of cookies and a lot of bread also so I feel as if I am ready for any emmergency that will come. We have been spraying our bushes with Perox worms are eating them up fast even those little maples that were set out this spring. I came in with a little green worm on my arm he had a black stripe dow [[down]] his back and neck
