it might teach them a lesson about leaving their house so much. but they are both so easy going they dont seem to mind little things

We have just eaten over supper Pa is sitting by himself in the dining room quietly I have told him the reason he did not sleep any better the night before was because he ate too much before going to bed & he said he knew it. so I dont know whether he will profit by it to night or not. I cooked prunes yesterday & he stood over them all afternoon watching them & the pudding & finally said that the pudding he was not going to touch, so. I knew by that he wanted to eat it. then I took him out a dish. he seemed so childish. I had not the heart to replace him. thats the only interest he shows, his eating.

He is very quiet & stays mostly by himself not near the trouble he was, only when he gets excited. he still sticks to his crazy notions & no one can reason him out of them, his sense of reason is gone entirely.

well this is all there is to write about to night the thermometer is above freezind [[freezing]] & cloudy
