Bold wind but sunny. I went down town this afternoon in spite of the cold wind to post a letter that the post man did not take, I like an idiot forgot to put the stamp on.

Pa tried to beg me not to go, he is seart blue to have me leave him alone. We both had an hours nap in the middle of the day. He woke before light this morning and did not sleep afterwards. He is always craziest mornings interesting, so I have to get up to line in any comfort. But on the whole the days are better for he does not talk and rare as he did. He is seart people are coming to get both of us, he says that he is crazy and I am also and they Will take us both soon. He eats the bean muffins and they keep his bowels about right together with his fig syrup. I don’t think he needs any thing more. His appetite is good but he does not eat any meat we have fish and oysters occasionally. I am at work on my guilt have got it ready to tie and may finish
