make up & his disposition is showing worse now. We had a box of molasses candy come to us by mail from Lena this afternoon. I was in the midst of writing her a letter meanwhile. I got Pa some figs when I went down to day also. he swore that he would not eat any but did thats the disposition he shows at every thing terrible aggregation.
       
Mrs Dunley I met in the store to day & she was inquiring about Pa & said her husband was so for 16 years & when she went out, she had to lock him in the house. She lives next to Reubin Willis where the pretty garden used to be.
       
Pa is just been looking in & says trouble before we go to bed tonight the heater had just started up he is afraid. well now comes Amos & Andy & then we are off to bed & one more day got through.

No more snow came during the night, a crust formed so I threw out my crumbs on top of the snow, to the little birds and they are here for their morning feed. Not much snow fell I am glad no need of any paths this time
