Dear Doris

Another pleasant day & a nice moon at night seems good & spring like weather which helps to get rid of winter

I had a lot of corn shelled in the house that Lena brought here which I have been putting out in the boxes for the blue jays. they carried it away pretty griedily now they are hungry, as they live on acorns & dont eat what the little birds do. I got through the day yesterday but it was any thing but pleasant to live in such a crazy atmosphere. he had an uneasy night & is pretty wild this morning I cant get away from him a minute. he is right up in my face & eyes. no more writing a crazy freak has put a stop to that. Charley Porter was going by the house & stopped in yesterday afternoon to see Pa but Pa would not talk to him but very little & I did not go out as I was not acquainted & he soon went off. But Jim came afterwards & he wass all right untill he got tired then he was hateful but did not know it. I suppose Sidney arrived home
