as nothing can be helped by so doing. I am glad my life will not extend much longer as my usefulness will soon be a thing of the past. The longer one lives the more we feel that our lives are governed by an unseened power above who knows best.

It does seem good to have it pleasant & not too cold. My rug is progressing I am happier when there is some thing to take up my attention

Pa is just listening to the radio. & still a minute so I can finish this letter while he is occupied. I should think you were entertaining with a vengance just now. where is Grace Southworth this winter I never hear her mentioned. Talbot says the Olisha Monk place he hears has been sold & wonders where Eunice is going to live, seems too bad as its the only home she has ever known. well this is all there is today
