Dear Doris,

We are having warm springlike weather. I tried to get Sidney an an almanac at the at the drug store but they sold all they had I will keep watch for the next batch as we haven't got ours yet. Ralph says he will get one in Boston but is liable to forget it again he is awful forgetful I dont see what makes him so if he was twenty years older it would not be so strange.

Well Pa was very uneasy all night he cant seem to have any thing come through him in spite of oil & injections which makes him crazy as a coot. he is awful uneazy in consequence. I hope the oil I gave him this morning will be the means of starting something before many hours.

I did not get any letter from you yesterday but may to day I went down to the office with my mail early, so you will be sure to get my letter early. Pa is running a steady stream of gabble that there is no sense to. he does not talk any thing
