Dear Doris

It looks like it was going to be a pleasant day after two days of rainy weather the temperature is mild & we dont need much heat. Bruce sent in his check for two months rent unsolicited. so thats as it should be.

I wrote Wallace [[Pemrimon?]] a long letter yesterday & am going down to mail it today. I am sorry Ralph forgot Sidneys almanac. I am going to see if they have any at the drug store this morning & mail him one right away if possible.

Pa is fussing because his bowels dont move. he wont take Petrolager unless I make him, its contraryness. I gave him two injections yesterday afternoon but its hard for him to hold the water. really its a circus every time it goes on. he is so nervous & scart [[scared]], he has used the cabinet chair but hates to do anything I ask him to crazy & dont want to flood that chair. I suppose he will make a fuss when I go
