Dear Dorris,
The wether is mild this morning the oil came up early this morning Pa would not consent to its being paid for in spite of all I could do. I had $35. plenty of money to settle it with. I owe them $10. now.
The box came Wednesday also the Womans Home Companion which I suppose you also sent for the coming year thanks for both.
I went to Maudes yesterday & saw the little things she had to send dow to the baby Georgie Perkins was there making a dress for Maude. it was a beauty. she gave me a picture Calender & a lot of nice pieces for patchwork I wish I had got them before as my quilt is all set together. She also gave me the rug that Mrs. Blake had begun for her
