Dear Doris

This is going to be a pleasant day its clearing at last. a terrible gloomy day to get through yesterday. Pa was full of his crazy notions & hard to manage. So I was glad to go to bed when it come night worn-out in mind. I cullered my sugar bags & will rinse & put them to dry this morning as soon as I get around to it. it seems good to see the sun there are several errands to do so that I am going down town soon as I write the letter. by the way no letter came from you yesterday but I may get two today. I got a Xmas card from Aunt Molly yesterday. I am not sending any this year. Pa would have a fit. he takes no interest in anything pleasant but sits in darkness & gloom instead. & does not want one to do any work to take up my mind, but just listen to his crazy jabber, till it seems as though I should be like him gloomy as he is. He is all bound up injections & oil have had no effect so I gave him another dose this morning I presume
