Dear Doris

The temperature was down this morning to 14° above. it is pretty pink in the east so it going to moduate down to another snow storm.
I went down town yesterday after noon to pay the Coporative dues & it seemed terrible chilly coming home.
On Prospect St I met Ilga she had been to the house and Pa sent her on to meet me. she brought me some of her large nice bulbs to put in water & I gave her a box of persimmons & a little plant, a sensitive Plant & told her it was a "passion" plant. I knew better but was tired & it came to me in the night what I said it was. News came out in the papers
