Dear Doris,
The storm is over yesterday it poured all the afternoon hard. its a little cooler this morning.

Pa is listening to the news, after a good nights rest. he had a very rested day all day yesterday. I gave him an injection late in the day. I was sewing all the afternoon for my self. Lena sent Pa some cooked prunes, which he likes. Lena is very kind hearted I wish she had a tenement by herself where she could live more reachable (two  old maids) are not as congenial as they might be living together.
