Dear Doris
        We are having cloudy weather I am in hopes it clears to day. Ralph is here with the insurance policies. he is going to mail Sidney the bill with his. I am glad the baby has got her cat at last. Pa is talking so its impossible to write much today his troubles are great nothing satisfies. he is so helpless he cant do a thing but grumble. the heater still worries him he cant read it himself & dont think I can so Ralph went down cellar & at last convinced it was just as I said so he came up satisfied that I was right.
