Dear Doris

It is a little cooler, my fire started up at 4 o'clock this morning & run an hour, so it heat the water up so that the rooms were warm when we got up in the morning. Pa was asleep & it did not disturb him he sleeps better nights. he worries about the heater & thinks that I dont know when to order oil. A man came yesterday to look at the meter & said it did not register & they had got to put in a new meter, so that was just enough to set Pa a going. its impossible to write a letter even where he is it makes me all trembly, so if you cant make sense out of what I write do make allowances.
