Doris Pa is crazy over the heater this morning he says its all to pieces & I am discouraged he says a crack in beside the door ought to be fixed. he thinks it has started since they fixed it.

Dear Doris

Another sunny day but a little cooler so I started up the heat just enough to warm up the rooms I got Pa to take a bath & change his clothes after the room up stairs got warm. I have just washed out his shirts & the floors & have set down to rest up a bit.

We had a fire alarm last night & one this morning. Hallowe'en passed off quietly otherwise.

As I went down town after my meat & cooking eggs yesterday, afternoon I saw Ralph & he had got a letter from Aunt Molly & said he guessed she would
