-Acme Telephoto.

A wonder-pilot can't break records without a superior plane. That's why Vincent Bendix, left, congratulates both Frank Fuller, Jr., center, who set a new race record for the flight from Los Angeles to New York, feature of the National Air Races at Cleveland O., and Major Alexander de Seversky, designer of the winning plane. In the background is the huge trophy awarded to the winner in addition to a cash prize.
