we have not got our Lamps for the Table as yet but I think we shall soon. as [[Jonny?]] Dykeman has had a [[an]] addition to his family the past week  a boy  and he has gone in Co. with another man and opened a Good & Large Store and workroom on [[Wyman?]] St  Mrs Brown's old store so think it will come come around soon  have got to go down to Lodge soon for a rehearsal this afternoon. by the way that reception comes off the 16th of April  hope by that time it will be decent going  Lena has marked off that date and will go with us. I got Tickis [[tickets?]] for Mrs Brown and Alice Teele and Carls widow. we expect to have some hundred and fifty or seventy five at the reception. The papers were late this morning  had to go down. a second time for them  and it is the Damnest walking you ever saw. Some on wheels, at Seever & Prospect its hard  It is a foot and half thick and so one sided that [[?]] bring up on side wall at side of Drake house Trollope. has got some one to pump the water fm [[from]] the Celler [[Cellar]] of the Dr. Rose House  cost him a dollar for each man an hour  they pumped nearly all night at the Parker House  and the same at Horace Lowes  in all three houses  water so deep put out heating plants [[right margin]] I have to put Rubber Boots on to get coal at Store [[/right margin]]
