Saturday night

Dear Doris -
I have just finished the jacket and as I don't feel like doing anything more I will call a halt and begin the letter. I have been alone all Lena came the last thing saying, she was not coming out. We are having gold days now real winter all but the snow, our bedroom window every morning, is coated over with thick, white, frost, but tonight it is a little bit milder getting ready for a storm, so the paper tonight says. I have been very busy this week, cleaning house some, sewing and jacketing although I think this is the last yarn I will get this season, about taking account of stock nevertheless last year they worked us clear up to Xmas I know I had hard work to get time for what little I did in fancy work. Elsie and her kid are going to stay till after X mas I have not seen them yet and dont want to. Sue told Elsie that Abbie was not able to have her there and to come up there but I hates Sue as she does the devil.
