Dear Doris  It is now threeoclock and I must begin something I am pretty tired today. Lena came Friday night she is getting her clothes cleaned up and packed away so to start for her aunt Coras tomorrow where she intends to stay this vacation and she may not come back all summer, she dont know now, as she is very tired and would like a year to rest up in. The air is very good today yesterday was sultry and I was sleeping in spit of it I did a jacket and cooked bread and beans made a batch of cookies an apple pie also a washington & pot roast boiled onions and potatoes. and today we had some string beans from our own garden. and also littuce.
