Stoughton June 18th

Dear Doris.
Well Pa has written his letter and it remains for me to do mine. This has been a cold week and today is cold and showery. Our garden is getting along fine my tomatoes have grown since yesterday. Then I put on two pails of liquid stuff from the barn sellar and now the rain, has shot them right ahead. I have discovered a nest in that white oak right in our door yard its a scarlet tanger. I kept hearing that peculiar call and rushed to the door to see if I could locate.
