Wednesday Burt, Harry, and two girls were up to Aunt Sue's to dinner. It seems they came to Basekton and went to Highland Park from there went down to South Street there around their old place and so walked over through the woods down through the hotel neighborhood and down to Horace's. She said when they got there she guessed they were pretty tired and so did not care to go any farther so went back that five o'clock train. The girls were from Cohasset-strangers to her. Burt says his mother discontented all the whole time she has all the modern improvements and more familiar than she ever had before but still she cries most of the time.
