Dear Folks
The wind has been in the south & its warm with a promise of cooler with showers to night. hope we get showers so dry is everything for the want of rain. I am just beginning to start on the dresses. have one cut & wonder if the pattern is long enough to hem it around the bottom or should I face it up. it is a conundrum as she is at the growing age now. I am glad you had a good time on your trip south. it seemed a long trip to take in so short a time. I was lame after riding over to Holbrook in Harrington car. but it was on the back seat & a hard riding auto. with no cushion to my back.

This afternoon Mrs Lambert & Mrs Griffin called I had a lively time they were very jolly, & seemed pleased to see me & they said that Bosilea Tolman lived over in the tenement here next to the Rings.
