Alice was taken into town to the Mass general hospital. the Glennon girl took his on his ear with Mystic, she cried so they could not have his untill very late. Dr Nat Faxon said every thing possible would be done for her that could. through Mr Marshall she was admitted free. he being an Episcopal a ward that order contributed for the church folks. She will stay for observation. I am sorry for her & pity them both. I have been making up the given cloth you sent me Xmas for a dress, if I go off to ride it will look nice to wear. Laura Gebheart says she will surely take me. she is very good & is kind hearted but blunt. I like Nellie Standish since I get more acquainted with her. the daughter inlaws mother is moving from N Hampshire there & is going to live with them & do the work. his daughter Lottie works in the library & Gwendoline is going to be married in June & going away to live. (the grandaughter) Nellie likes Mrs Parker & is much pleased with the plan of her coming there, she being the only one who is kind to Nellie. & she wont have to be alone there nights. Ma. she loves Mrs. Barry & she says Nellie is very refined & lady like. She likes me too.
