Dear Folks
We are having a very pleasant sunny day with temperatures in the 30's. I have nothing else to do and will begin my Sunday letter but there is nothing much to write about. Mrs Barry is not at church today. at present she is talking on the telephone trying to pacify Laura Gebheart and Pheobie Hill because they weren't invited to Alice Winslow's party. everybody had an invitation about. they were left out. Marion don't like either of them. she and Alice Winslow are very united & have nice homes with plenty of money. they are lady like & Laura is common. she tries to show off in company. no one likes her coarse way. they feel ashamed of her. she wants to see Mamie and is coming after B this afternoon to go there. Two ladies that used to live with them in Taunton, came here to call on her yesterday. Myrtie told them "they were to stay just ten minutes but not to talk but a little," very much of a nurse on her job. they told Blanch they were coming to take us to ride, some day after it got decent, going. she liked them when she lived with her cousin. they lived up stairs two widows friends, they are just like sisters. I don't think they were fond of Mamie it was B that perswaided them to come & call on her before she passed on. Myrtie is going to Alices this afternoon. I guess Alice & Percy are discouraged
