Dear Folks.

Another sunny day but cold. I am here all by my lonesome. she went to church & now is going to ride. Bill came over in his truck he brought us a nice icecream & when he gets back I shall have him stay to supper & give him some of my birthday cake. Ralph walked over to see me while she was to meeting. he is very nervous & thin he looks very bad. dont feel like work & guess does'nt know when he will go to work. sort of discouraged he seemed. Maude did not come she is bad he said. He said Bill Southworth died suddenly. he had not been on the route for over a week. we are mighty glad we wrote him that letter. I guess he stuck to his job too long. people dont realize how much they have done for them, or what they take out of others. he was to have retired in April & was called a little sooner. his heart gave out. its a pity Mamie Kate could not go. she suffers terribly & it is wearing to Ethel who is working there for her & doing her own work nights she is Eldons niece. our snow is melting some to day, but its terrible getting around. there is so much of it this street its the deepest. I did'nt know but Lena might come up but have not heard from her much lately. she is not very well & guess does not care to
